Meet Dr. Emily Carter

A warm, collaborative approach grounded in research and shaped by real-life experience.

Dr. Emily Carter

Dr. Emily Carter, PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist · License #PSY12345

Over 15 years of clinical experience with adults and emerging adults.

Integrates CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and compassion-focused therapy.

Specializes in anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and self-esteem struggles.

I believe meaningful change happens in a space where you feel seen, safe, and free from judgment. Together we’ll gently slow down, make sense of what you’re going through, and develop practical tools you can bring into your everyday life.

With a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Stanford University, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My style is collaborative and gentle, yet focused and structured when that’s helpful.

Whether you’re feeling “not yourself,” stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply curious about knowing yourself more deeply, therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with who you are and how you want to live.
